David Bennett Hill (1843-1910) was an American politician from New York. He was mayor of Elmira, New York (1892) and shortly thereafter (1893-1895) became lieutenant governor of the state. Legislation of 1886 established regulations for employment of women and children in factories and directed the Governor to appoint a factory inspector and assistant factory inspector to enforce the regulations and prosecute violators.
